Hello! We're glad you've chosen to visit our site, so we're going to give you a little background information to get to know us. The Bead Chik is a small, family run business that consists of me, Droog, and my wife Chichek eshes Droog. We're members of the Society for Creative Anachronism, or the SCA for short. This is a wonderful group of people who are dedicated to historical, medieval research. To fully describe them here would be unfair to both you and them so just visit www.SCA.org to learn more.

We started The Bead Chik because, well, Chik is into crafts. I mean, really into crafts; everything from painting, knitting, fiber arts of all kinds-if you can name it, she's probably done it, or will at some point. Some time ago Chik decided to learn how to make glass beads and she hasn't stopped making them. So, we simply needed to find a home for all the wonderful beads she's created.

Now, to be fair to Chik, I must add that I've started my own adventure into crafts and have been making armour. Of course I have some pieces lying around that I need to find a home for as well. With Chik's love of crafts, and my foray into armour making, you'll not only find beads for sale, but other treasures too. Just visit the link Other Stuff and take a look.
